The Mexican-American Bar Association of Dallas extends its condolences to the families of those innocent children and teachers that were killed in this senseless shooting.
As we try to wrap our heads around this tragedy and find the words – it is clear that our youth is suffering. I, like many of you, don’t have the answers on how to fix this problem. One thing is clear, we need to do better at recognizing the red flags.
The Latino community is known for its “big family” feel – everyone knows everyone. We, as LATINO ATTORNEYS, have the unique opportunity to inspire, guide; teach the youth. I challenge you to look around and see whether there are any children or people that may benefit from your encouragement, kind words; mentorship, etc.
