For the State of Texas:

1. Sign in to your State Bar of Texas Bar Page:

2. Click on “Order Certificates”

3. Follow the prompts verifying your identity and attesting to the required statements.

4. Request “Delivery by Email” and enter your name, email, and confirm email address.

5. On Certificate Options, click “Do Not List Any Disciplinary History” and click “Continue”.

6. DO NOT request Supreme Court Certificate.

7. Follow the Checkout Prompts and pay fee of $25.

8. Receive your letter of Good Standing within a few minutes.

NOTE: Letters of Good Standing expire 30 days from date of issuance.

Letters of Good Standing required for all states where applicant is licensed to practice.

Email the following documents to maba.dtx@gmail.com and please use the following subject, “MABA Attorney Referral List Application Supporting Documents”, so that your email can be routed appropriately. Your email should include: 

3. Copy of Government-Issued ID

4. Copy of Bar Card

5. Letter of Good Standing from each jurisdiction you are admitted to practice in.

6. (2) letters of support from MABA members required for non-members applying for the Attorney Referral List

• You will be notified by MABA by email, added to the Referral List, which will be accessible online and on our social media platforms.

• If you are not a MABA member, you will be instructed on how to pay the annual $50 fee. Once the fee is paid, you will be notified by MABA by email, added to the Referral List, which will be accessible online and on our social media platforms.
